Anna Kendrick is a popular American actress who has been nominated for an Oscar. She is famous for her performances in several hit movies, including a supporting role in Twilight. In Portland, Maine she started her acting career with High Society a Broadway show in her early years. The show won her a Theatre World Award in recognition of her performance. Then she performed in a second character in New York City Opera's production A Little Night Music by Stephen Sondheim. She began acting in movies following the awarding of a TheatreWorld award for the performance in the role of the character's best friend in Twilight. The Twilight Saga New Moon featured her reprising the role. In shows like Fear Itself, Comedy Bang! as well as other shows, she's been on TV. Bang! Anna Kendrick was also a singer.
