Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor. She was born on June 13th, 1962. After her debut on film with the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack group of actors. She also appeared as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for more than twenty years. She started her career in film with the crime drama movie Bad Boys in the early 1980s for which she was praised. The film was written and directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other famous actors, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. After her successful debut on screen, the actress appeared on screen in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes directed one of the most memorable films made for high school students. It was produced for just $1,000,000, but the film made more than 50 million dollars. While appearing in CBS Schoolbreak, which was also her debut on television. This show aimed at teenagers and began airing in April 1980. The other shows she appeared in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. in Little Sister she makes a guest appearance. She also appears as a character in X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film in which her role is only a short cameo. Sheedy's amazing performances have won numerous accolades including an MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
