Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress who is best known for portraying detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical thriller The Resident. Additionally, she earned applause for her television debut role on Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch were amongst her credits on film. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted to a movie with Vlas Parlapanides (the pair who created the Immortals) is thought to be in production. In addition, she is filming a brand new series called Gods & Heroes.
